This refill butt was laid down on 18th October 2001 and bottled in 14th August 2020 after 18 years of maturation to yield just 458 bottles.
Non-chill filtered and bottled at 63% abv. Intense aromas of roasted peaches and spiced black cherries herald a rich harmony of beautifully balanced flavours – sugar-glazed plums, aromatic chai tea and honeyed peat smoke. Intensely spicy at the end, a suggestion of nutty toasted oak lingers.
