Terms and Conditions

1. This website www.simplywhisky.sg is operated by SIMPLY WHISKY registered in Singapore with UEN 53346059W. Please read these terms and conditions before placing an order with us. By using this website and placing an order, you confirm that you are of legal age to purchase alcohol in your country and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
For ease of reading, “We” refer to SIMPLY WHISKY and “You” refers to the person using the website and or placing an order.

2. PRODUCTS

2.1. The prices on the website are liable to change at any time. However, any change in prices will not affect orders that have already been placed and confirmed, unless in the case of an obvious mis-pricing of a product.

2.2. Prices are quoted in Singapore dollar (SGD) and are inclusive of 7% Goods & Services Tax (GST).
For orders outside of Singapore, price excluding GST is calculated at checkout.

2.3. Due to the age of various bottles, especially so for vintage bottles, the bottle, their seals and boxes may have defects such as tears, stains, dents, rust etc. Visible defects are highlighted in the product description and/or images. Please ensure you are satisfied with the condition before placing an order.

3. ORDERS

3.1. If the products ordered are out of stock, we will inform you as soon as possible and provide a refund if payment has been made.

3.2. We cannot guarantee reservation of bottles if the order has not been paid for.

3.3. Order will be cancelled if payment is not received within 3 working days (in Singapore) or 5 working days (for overseas). Please get in touch if you require more time for payment arrangements.

3.4. We reserve the right to cancel an order should the customer be uncontactable or if we do not deliver to the address provided.

4. ORDER AMENDMENTS / CANCELLATIONS

4.1. Once an order has been processed and dispatched, we are unable to process any changes or cancellations. Please contact us as soon as possible after placing an order should you need to make changes.

4.2. Cancellation of orders before delivery whereby payments have been processed will be subjected to a cancellation fee.
Local PayNow/ bank transfer: S$5
International remittance: To be determined according to bank fees
Credit card payment: A percentage of the order total. 4% for Singapore and 4.5% for overseas order. This is the processing fees charged by PayPal or credit card merchant for processing the payment and these fees cannot be refunded.

4.3. We do not accept cancellations of orders that have been dispatched.

5. LOCAL DELIVERY

5.1. Delivery within Singapore is free for orders above S$400 or S$12 for orders below S$400.

5.2. Deliveries to restricted zones in Singapore may incur an additional fee.

5.3. We are not liable for unattended deliveries or incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer.

5.4. A re-delivery fee shall be applicable in case of a failed delivery.

5.5. We will not be liable for any loss or damage to the goods once delivery is fulfilled.

5.6. No cancellations or refunds upon delivery fulfilment.

6. OVERSEAS SHIPPING

6.1. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout according to weight and destination.
We ship your items out within 1-3 working days after payment is confirmed. This may take longer during peak periods.

6.2. Insurance can be added at checkout for a 3% fee of your cart total to cover for breakage or loss in transit, provided for by the courier company. In the case of loss or breakage, please contact us immediately with details and images. Any compensation will be made in accordance to the courier company’s insurance policy after investigation.

6.3. We take every effort to package and dispatch your orders safely and securely to avoid damages. However, if insurance is not opted for, the risk of any loss, damages or leakages caused in transit is borne by the buyer and no claim shall be lodged against us.

6.4. Your order may be subjected to your local tax, customs and duties or require an import license. These charges are to be fully borne by the buyer. We will not refund any bottles returned as a result of unpaid customs, duties and taxes. We are not responsible for delays, damages or seizure caused by customs.

6.5. It is the buyer’s responsibility to check on their country’s customs rules and restrictions on importation of liquor before placing an order.
