A 38 year old Glendronach 1972 from a single cask #718, bottled in 2010 at 51.5% abv. This is Not an ordinary sherry bomb of dark chocolate and dark coffee, but this cask is particularly more complex. It exhibits notes of tropical fruits underneath the sherry in an excellent intertwined balance. Rated 94 points by more than a hundred whisky connoisseurs, this is an excellent treat to vintage old Glendronachs. Arguably, this is the best if not among the top few casks from the Glendronach Distillery.
