One of the best Managers Dram series, is the Aberfeldy 19 Years old from 1991. Specially picked by the manager and sold exclusively only to staff members, the Aberfeldy really shines above the rest. On the nose, its waves of heavy of sherry and nuts typical of sherry bombs, but one would find a lot of tropical fruit notes, similar to those found in old Bowmores. A complex, rare and excellent whisky that is hard to achieve in the modern age, and hence the price.
