This remarkable malt from a sherry cask, filled in May 1966 has lain undisturbed for 35 years, quietly perfecting its palate and colour in a sea-washed warehouse at Bunnahabhain distillery. Bottled at cask strength at the peak of its maturity in 2002 , it has aromas of ripe apricots and honey with immediate fruit on the palate, sherry, followed by treacle coffee and a beautifully sweet aftertaste. A limited edition of 401 bottles.
